Based in Liverpool City Centre, our client is a global £1bn turnover organisation with a history spanning over 200 years.

With a focus on developing their existing CSR strategy, a CSR Communications Executive role has been created and will report directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager.

A varied role, you will be responsible for driving internal engagement and participation in charity and "giving back"

Description

As CSR Communications Executive, you will play a key role in connecting the company and colleagues with local communities.

Using your skills, experience and knowledge you will help coordinate and lead a plan of community engagement that empowers their colleagues across the group to give back to local communities.

  • Collaborating with your manager to write the company's community engagement strategy, and devising and delivering regular action plans and campaigns to engage colleagues
  • Building and managing a large live database volunteer opportunities and promoting them to colleagues
  • Coordinating and attending an annual programme of charity events and high profile central event challenges
  • Supporting and encouraging colleagues to fund-raise and donate via salaries, taking advantage of our £ for £ match funding service
  • Creating internal marketing collateral including posters, videos, case studies and how to guides to encourage colleagues to take part in the programme
  • Gathering and writing content for internal and external channels including newsletters, website, social media, and publications
  • Working with subsidiary businesses to recruit and manage a network of colleague community champions
  • Proactively creating links and leading relationships between the company and educational groups
  • Proactively creating partnerships with charities, third-sector organisations, colleagues, and other groups
  • When needed, conducting research including audience profiling and research into best practice and the latest community engagement trends
  • Reporting on social responsibility activity to senior managers

Profile

You will already have experience within a marketing and communications role, and looking for a role and opportunity where you can add value.

You will be passionate about supporting charities and CSR and want to work for a business where you will be supported by the senior management team to ensure that your hard work is recognised.
