If you are an excellent communicator and people person who is happy to work autonomously but also willing to lend a hand to other members of the school office team when needed, then this is a great role for you.

Often the first point of contact for any prospective employee you will need to have a warm, friendly yet professional personality and excellent organisational skills plus an appreciation of the ethos of independent/private school sector, and a good sense of humour. 

Start Date : ASAP

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Dealing with all recruitment enquiries, by email, telephone, letter or in person;

• Organising all recruitment from the placing of the advertisement to appointment, including organisation of interviews, references and checking;

• Responsibility for maintaining the Single Central Register 

• Maintaining the staff personnel files and annual leave data for administrative staff;

• Liaising with recruitment agencies 

• Drafting employment contracts for staff from precedents provided by in- House Counsel;

• Keeping iSAMS, our information management system, up to date with regard to employees;

• Maintaining information on visitors to School and to carry out the appropriate checks on these;

• Assisting in the wider administration of the School;

• You may also be required to undertake such other duties as the Principal reasonably requires from time to time including ad hoc projects.
