Claims Advisor (Insurance)

This role will help my client manage it's internal accident and claims processes to better support my clients lead in maximising claims process efficiency and overall recoveries through insurance providers. Working as part of the Flexigrid Finance Team and with the Haulage Operations Team, my client are looking to recruit a permanent internal Insurance Claims Co-ordinator.

Description

The responsibilities of a Claims Advisor (Insurance) include:

• Create and implement 'Golden Hour' accident management process within our operational teams.
• Initial engagement with appropriate insurers to open any potential claim.
• Collate costs of the claim by working with internal teams including our Fleet team and our Driver Managers.
• Work with and support the Insurance Lead and other key Stakeholders' to manage & progress claims and close in an appropriate time scale.
• Active management of any third party 'at fault' claims and proactive cost recovery. Look to minimise costs where we are 'at fault'.
• Claims to be managed through our internal airsweb system.
• Create and maintain a monthly reporting dashboard.

Profile

The succesful Claims Advisor (Insurance) will include:

• Previous experience in an insurance or claims handling environment, preferably dealing with commercial motor vehicles.
• Attention to detail in a fast paced, high-pressured environment.
• Excellent communications skills and works well within a team.
• A good level of IT literacy including competency in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
• Positive attitude and desire to investigate and follow through to completion.
