An entertainment group in Shoreditch is looking for a full-time Family Office Accountant.

This is a new role reporting to the Deputy Head of UK Family Office which will evolve to support growing business activities during an extremely exciting stage of development.

The successful candidate will be a crucial part of a small and focussed team working across a large number of businesses and projects.                        

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts 
  • Development of annual budgets
  • Preparation and development of monthly management accounts including variance analysis
  • Monitoring costs and expenditure across all projects and entities and development of new financial analysis
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of all accounts
  • Development and maintenance of strong financial systems
  • Development and maintenance of stock reporting system
  • Invoicing customers in accordance with contractual agreements, follow up and reporting on debt collection
  • Impeccable record keeping
  • Accounts payable – checking purchase invoices, following up and resolving queries, raising payments for approval
  • Preparation of Company Secretarial returns – confirmation statement, PSC, and others
  • Systems development to collect data for annual PSA return
  • P11 D reporting
  • Development of robust system of accounting and reporting for NFT business and cryptocurrencies

Candidates must be / have:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA desirable, although exceptional candidates qualified by experience will be considered)
  • Extensive management and statutory accounts experience
  • Experience of developing and maintaining financial analyses
  • Proven track record of systems implementation and maintenance
  • Excellent spreadsheeting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Extensive Xero experience
  • Self-motivating and solutions driven
  • Eager to learn
  • Flexible, professional, and personable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to successfully communicate with people at all levels within and outside of the organisation
