Front of House Assistant

Our client, based in Holborn are currently looking to grow their team of Front of House Assistants.You will be responsible for helping to run an efficient front of house area, reception, switchboard duties and organisation of the meeting rooms.Looking for someone who can provide an excellent level of customer service and client care.

Duties:

  • Meeting and greeting clients in main reception area, client meetings rooms and lounge areas with a professional, warm and friendly manner.
  • Looking after clients internally and externally, providing directions and support.
  • Handling highly confidential situations.
  • Maintaining all areas are neat and tidy and well stocked.
  • Liaising with other front of house support teams such as Concierge.
  • Managing email inbox.
  • Use of MS Office and Meeting Room booking systems as well as Switchboard.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are set up correctly as well as being vacated on time.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Maintaining stationery for meeting rooms.
  • Liaising with Hospitality and IT re meeting room requirements.
  • Operating Console Switchboard to handle internal and external calls.Redirecting calls as appropriate and taking messages when required.
  • Accommodating meeting room allocations depending upon size of meetings.
  • Ad-hoc admin skills.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience within a professional environment and proven track record of working in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills along with exceptional telephone manner.
  • Flexible and being able to keep calm as well as being energetic when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and computer literate.
  • Takes pride in their work and presentation along with being able to be discrete.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise.
  • Real team player and able to build up relationships internally and externally.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative.
