A creative East London firm are looking for an Office Assistant from 12-15 July. This is a great role for someone wanting to gain more experience.

Duties:

Key responsibilities:

- Management of Front of House ensuring high standards are set, maintained and continually improved. Ensure that all visitors to our office are engaged in a professional manner, and have a positive experience at Emperor.

- Management of all meeting areas. They need to be presentable and ready for clients at all times.

- Ensuring the smooth management of all inbound phone calls.

- Organising couriers when needed.

- Booking travel and accommodation for staff.

- Ensure a safe, clean and professional working environment for staff.

- Oversee the management of essential office services including post, couriers, cleaners, waste/ recycling and catering.

- Ordering office supplies and equipment and ensuring stationery cupboards are fully stocked.

- Co-ordination of external contractors/ suppliers, ensuring work has been completed satisfactorily and where necessary follow up on any deficiencies.

- Work alongside the Operations Supervisor to ensure running costs are maintained within the agreed budget.

- Ensure supermarket orders are made to ensure our kitchen supplies and fridges are stocked.

- Work with the Operations Supervisor to manage any health and safety related matters, including policies, risk assessments and appropriate numbers of first aiders and fire wardens are maintained.

- Local IT liaison.
