Trainee Recruitment Consultant – City Based Financial Services Recruitment Firm
Start date ASAP
£22k per annum (£35k OTE)
Temp to perm (after approx. 4 weeks)
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office per week

A multi-award winning recruitment company with a global client base and focus in Financial Services, have an amazing opportunity for someone to join them in an entry-level role where all training will be given.

They are looking for a Resourcer / Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their successful team; a dynamic, sociable and friendly group who enjoy monthly socials such as go-karting, cookery classes and karaoke!

They’re looking for someone to join them as a Resourcer initially, and this role will give you the opportunity to learn from the bottom up, become familiar with their clients and learn about the roles they recruit for.

The plan would be to establish yourself as a Resourcer for the first year, and then have the option to either move into a more senior role within this team, or transition into a Recruitment Consultant role, depending upon what your preference is.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Day to day duties will included, but not be limited to:
 
  • Phoning potential candidates and discussing their CV with them
  • Supporting assignments and acting as the first point of contact for candidates
  • Building relationships with senior level candidates across the financial markets
  • Headhunting candidates from LinkedIn and discussing potential job opportunities with them
  • Maintaining their CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ensure all details are up to date at all times
  • Liaising internally with Recruitment Consultants to assist with their assignments and establish their requirements

WHO YOU ARE:
 
  • Excellent telephone manner and confidence to reach out to people on the phone throughout the day
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • A great energy and hunger to succeed

They are looking to hold interviews ASAP for this role and it will consist of 2 stages; the first will be a video interview for approximately 30 minutes and the second stage will be in-person where you will be invited into the office and asked to make some phone calls. This will be as a way to assess your level of confidence speaking to new people on the phone.
