PA to Group Head of HR – 12 month contract

A leading global independent property consultancy with a global network of over 400 offices and over 16,000 people worldwide is looking for Personal Assistant to support the Interim Group Head of HR on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Based in their Global Head Quarters in Central London the Personal Assistant will work within the Human Resources department, providing PA and Office Management support to the Interim Group Head of HR.  The role is required as a true right-hand person, supporting them with the smooth running of the department.  Confidentiality is crucial to this role as well as experience or an interest in all things HR!

Fantastic PA opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in HR and would like to get involved in HR. Hybrid working model- 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

Key PA responsibilities

  • Acting as first point of contact for the Interim Group Head of HR with colleagues, Group Heads, Office Managers, PA and the team. 
  • Working exceptionally closely with the Interim Group Head of HR so as to be in a position to anticipate their needs and be able to help prioritise requests for time and attention from all areas of the business
  • Project work/research as requested by the Interim Group Head of HR, in particular taking responsibility for maintaining momentum on projects being delivered directly for the Interim Group Head of HR
  • PA support to Interim Group Head of HR including proactive diary management, organising and minuting meetings, document production and travel arrangements
  • Preparation for meetings, ensuring that the Interim Group Head of HR has all relevant documentation ready for pre-reading
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Interim Group Head of HR at all times and carrying out all personal assistant duties in a discreet, diplomatic and efficient manner
  • Diary management – taking full control of the Interim Group Head of HR diary, making appointments and arrangements for all meetings
  • Staying on top of Interim Group Head’s email inbox. Responding and advising where necessary in Interim Group Head of HR’s absence.

Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required

  • A flexible, organised, pro-active hands-on individual is required for this role
  • At least 5 years + experience working for a global corporate organisation with exposure to board level support
  • An interest in HR or experience working in HR departments would be ideal
  • This role would suit a strong communicator capable of successfully influencing others at all levels of the business, with a professional and helpful manner
  • This position will ideally suit a self-motivated, well-presented individual with a proven background in project management, organisation and administration, including a genuine interest in HR Excellent time management skills
