Legal Secretary

Are you an experienced Legal Assistant looking for a more in to a Legal Secretarial position?

Our legal client based in on the outskirts of Cambridge is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.30pm to support their residential and commercial property team.

Responsibilities

As Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing & amending documentation, contracts, agreements and letters
• Diary management
• Dealing with emails
• Carrying out file audits to ensure they meet with compliance
• Dealing with client calls and visitors
• Dealing with incoming & outgoing post
• Raising invoices & credit notes
• Processing monthly expenses
• Preparing files for archive
• Supporting admin duties
• Maintenance of document management system
• Covering for colleagues during holiday / absence.

Skills required

To be considered for the position of Legal Secretary, you will have:-

• Accurate typing skills
• Will have used digital dictation
• Will be experienced in property law or similar
• Will have strong organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• You will thrive working under pressure and as part of growing team.
