I am currently recruiting for a well-established client, based in the Colchester area. This is a Senior Pensions Administrator position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years pensions experience and will require access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Processing a wide range of documentation
- Resolving customer enquiries based on competent working knowledge of the customer requirements
- Provision of administration service including calculation of member benefits to
- Maintenance of up to date filing and records for department
- Drafting of non-standard correspondence in response to customer enquiries
- Overseeing and checking the work of less experienced Team members
- Coaching and supporting colleagues with technical guidance and identify team members training needs
- Be a point of referral for complex enquiries
- Allocating workload within the team
- Assisting the Team Leader by deputising as required to attend meetings
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following;
- Minimum of 3 years pension experience
- Excellent communication skills: written and oral
- Excellent IT skills and a willingness and aptitude to learn a variety of systems
