Your new company
This company are market leaders in the oil and gas industry with global presence. They have had a Team Assistant vacancy arise in their Investor Relations division.

Your new role

This role sits within a small yet senior team and the individual will be instrumental in supporting the London-based IR team. This role will include:

  • Provides calendar management for in-person and virtual investor event as well as for the IR team
  • Leads other adhoc general administration activities, as required by the IR team.
  • Processes expense claims for the IR team.
  • Executes all logistics associated with investor events, including (i) booking flights, hotels, car service, meeting rooms and catering requirements, (ii) coordinating security and check-in requirements, (iii) providing 'meet & greet' service and (iv) coordinating and troubleshooting all IT requirements).
  • Provides day-to-day tactical support of investor events.
  • Provides administration support during the quarterly results process as needed, including supporting the printing of quarterly results materials, document management on MS Teams and sharepoint sites.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills with strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong 'one team' player - ability to effectively co-operate and communicate internally across bp (including executive offices, different segments and the global IR team) and externally with investors.
  • Self-starter, who can take initiative to assist team members where possible;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), templates, mail merge, letter formatting, slide master, One Note and use of Teams desirable
  • Ability to be discrete when dealing with confidential issues.
  • Experience working in banking/finance industries would be a plus however it is not a necessity.

What you'll get in return
This company have adopted a 60/40 working pattern whereby 3 days are office based and 2 are remote.
