IT Support Analyst - Contract

£25 - £29 per hour

3 months initially - potential to extend

Are you an experienced 1st and 2nd Line IT Support Analyst?

We are recruiting for a large health organisation who are looking for someone with a strong background in delivering 1st and 2nd line and managing the helpdesk. You will also be involved in project based work to pick up on a backlog of work and supporting the manager in delivering the IT strategy.

You will be the initial contact for all IT and AV support issues, and shall take ownership of 1st and 2nd line calls and administer successful resolutions in line with the IT SLA. These calls will take the form of helpdesk tickets, telephone calls and desk side visits. You shall be responsible for ensuring any 3rd line calls are escalated to the correct internal or external resource, and expected to ensure daily checks for key systems and applications are completed alongside maintaining the IT physical asset database and software asset database.

You will be expected to work proactively at all levels and undertake various IT related projects and tasks under the guidance and direction of the IT Systems Manager.

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Experience of Windows based administration tools such as Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Knowledge of 2FA platforms and how they integrate with existing services
  • Understanding of ITIL, including incident management, change management, and configuration management
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016/365
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
