We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Administrator for our client, a market-leading commercial appliance manufacturer in Milton Keynes. This is a hybrid role where you'll be able to work from home 2 days per week.
The Credit Control administrator is a key figure in supporting the financial function of a business, which requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with the credit controllers to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensuring customer's data is up to date
Providing accurate management data
Working closely alongside stakeholders to minimize risk whilst supporting business growth
Supporting the evaluation of customer credit limits
Working within a team of 5 credit controllers
Working closely with the Credit Manager, colleagues across the business plus internal & external customers
Administering ledgers in excess of GBP5m
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literate - Microsoft Office including Excel
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
The ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions
Proven experience within a busy Credit Control / Sales Ledger function within an administration role.
Working knowledge of Credit reference agencies and associated technologies
Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:
ICM level III or working towards
Working knowledge of SAP
Advanced Excel
Experience of the catering industry
