Our client, a small family-owned Manufacturing and Interior Design Company in South West London, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team! Working alongside the Managing Director and Projects Director to manage and oversee all logistics, operations and coordination. This lovely and dynamic role will fit someone who enjoys working as part of a team and possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude towards word! Strong communication skills and the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail is essential! 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to plan, run and oversee all major projects alongside the Directors
  • Liaise with international offices gain best quotes on all shipments 
  • Liaise with local logistics agents to arrange clearance and delivery of containers to relevant sites
  • Operational problem solving - involves continuous monitoring/control over problems being solved, and keeping Management up to date with progress made
  • Overseeing contract terms for all major logistic contracts 
  • Helping with the logistics of the warehouse, to ensure smooth running operations at all times
  • Assisting with management and operations diary management, ensuring efficient operational running of the department
  • Dealing with account management for key clients, assisting with enquiries and resolving complaints
  • Carrying out reviews on suppliers, making sure the company is getting the best price
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times

What we are looking for:

  • Previous coordination and administrative support experience
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills 
  • Impeccable time management
  • Good analytical and co-ordination skills
  • Ability to prioritise efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and multi-tasking
  • Sound use of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
