We are working with a great Accountancy Firm who are expanding quite rapidly and they require a Payroll Administrator to join their large but friendly and supportive team. The role offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to build on their existing experience by managing a portfolio of clients and running weekly and monthly payrolls. "

In this role as Payroll Administrator you will:

* Look after a portfolio of payroll clients and will take full responsibility for the end to end processing of the payrolls

* Undertake pension and auto enrolment administration

* Maintain the payroll system and records by capturing, calculating and inputting data

* Work in a great team where learning and development is encouraged

In order to be successful in this role as Payroll Administrator you will:

* Have the understanding and ability to calculate all payments including statutory and occupational sick pay, and maternity and parental leave.

* Have some solid basic experience of end to end payroll

* Understanding of PAYE procedures.

* Excellent mathematical skills with an ability to calculate statutory payments.

* Excellent knowledge and skills with payroll software, spreadsheets and journals.

* Sound understanding of pensions and auto enrolment administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines
