We have an exciting opportunity for a strong administrator to join our Group Fleet team based in Milton Keynes.
This position encompasses all aspects of the Group's Fleet Policy, ensuring that it is implemented, followed and monitored at all times. This position is one of a team of administrators responsible for administrating the Fleet operations of circa.4200 vehicles including vehicle sourcing, disposal and general administration across multiple Group companies and operations.
Key Responsibilities
* To ensure the processing of speeding, parking and general traffic offence notifications in accordance with authority deadlines.
* Process leavers with a company car in accordance with the leaver's procedure and ensure they are signed off with the required deductions and HR and Payroll advised accordingly.
* Complete all general administration including car allocation forms, additional drivers, MOT's, RFL, Fleet checks, vehicle transfers, vehicle movements, driving licence audits, MID updates, mobile phones, vehicle valeting and insurance letters are processed in accordance with the service standards.
* Allocate damage recharges and employee deductions as required.
* Ensure hire/pre-contract cars are ordered as required, ensuring they are returned promptly when finished with and the required administration is maintained including processing de-hire damage recharges.
* Maintain strong relationships with Lease company's contacts and main dealers to ensure 'best value' and service levels are achieved and negotiate where necessary.
* Assist in the monthly sign off of leasing and fleet maintenance invoices as required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience of working within a team and service/customer facing type role.
* A good understanding of vehicles, the motor trade and the fleet industry would be advantageous but not essential
* Buying/negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Conversant in Word, Excel and working knowledge of Databases.
* Ability to multitask and handle several projects or issues at the same time.
