School HR and Cover Manager
Empowering Learning are working with a Secondary school located in Prestwich who are looking to appoint a new HR Officer/Cover Manager to start with the school after the May Half Term. This is a permanent position which has come available due to a member off staff leaving to start a new opportunity.
Purpose of the job:
To liaise with the Trusts Human Resources Team.
To ensure all staff absence is logged and follow up actions are completed in a timely manner.
To oversee the appointment of new starters from start to finish with the support of the TRLT HR team.
To support the Head teacher with administrative tasks.Specific Responsibilities
To lead on the recruitment and selection process for vacancies across the whole school, to include:
To support the Head teacher in producing the appropriate recruitment documentation.
To lead on creating adverts, placing vacancies directly onto the TES website and disseminating to other recruitment websites.
Management of all documentation for new starters, ensuring it is collated and put into structured, confidential filing for each member of staff.
Manage the SIMs system, in terms of updates to staff personal information etc.Ideally the school are looking to appoint someone who has recent experience in a similar post in a school setting and can join the team ASAP.
