Job details

Founded in 1882, The Royal College of Music (RCM) is a world leading music conservatoire with a prestigious history and contemporary outlook. Our excellence was recognised by the 2022 QS World University Rankings, in which we were ranked as the global top institution for performing arts by Subject.
Following a £40 milllion building development, the Royal College of Music (RCM) has reopened its doors to external event bookers. To cope with the growing demand for events, both internal and external, the RCM is seeking to engage an Events Assistant to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of London’s newest event spaces located in the heart of South Kensington.

Excellent administrative and planning skills are essential as is the ability to be customer-focused. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and a desire to progress within the events industry.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for events, unique venues, and music. This role may be of particular interest to someone looking to start a career in the events industry building on workplace experience or education such as an Event Management degree. The opportunity will have strong support from the Development Manager, Events and Corporate Partnerships with real hands-on career development.

This post is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and is available from June 2022.
