Strategically creating a new role within the organisation, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our dedicated HR Team in supporting the wonderful employees of Long Road Sixth Form College.

In addition to deputising for the HR Manager, the Senior HR Officer will assist the HR Manager in implementing all HR processes and procedures throughout the College, including the Wellbeing agenda, Recruitment, Induction, Training & Development, Retention, and the administration of all employees' contractual pay matters on the College's HR & Payroll system. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing the College's wellbeing agenda, establishing strategies and procedures that will safeguard the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees, including responsibility for training, events, initiatives and benefits that will promote a positive working environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established HR professional to develop key skills and gain valuable experience of co-ordinating strategic projects whilst assisting in the provision of a holistic, caring, and approachable HR service to all our employees.

To be successful, you will display exceptional attention to detail and will be adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic. You will be pro-active and motivated and possess a professional manner that allows you to communicate efficiently with people at all levels. You will be CIPD qualified and will have the skills and experience to enable you to you to hit the ground running in this extremely busy and varied role. GBP28,499 starting salary, with incremental increases (the first being after a successful six-month probationary period), to GBP30,406 p/a.
