Job Title: Office Assistant / Administrator

Hours of work: 9.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday

Hourly rate: GBP10.50 per hour

Responsibilities will include

  • Being the first port of call for customers, including telephone enquiries and office walk-ins
  • Taking messages from clients and customers, and passing them on to other members of the team
  • Updating our CRM system where appropriate (we will provide training on this system)
  • Admin (such as printing/updating window cards) as and when required
  • Supporting the sales department only

Skills and Experience required

  • Good telephone manner, and ability to give a warm welcome to our clients
  • Confident with use of IT systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly (The software system is fairly easy to use)
  • Confident in getting 'stuck in' to the job quickly
  • Experience in a similar role, such as receptionist, preferable
  • No previous experience in estate agency required. Estate agency is all about people, so experience and enjoyment of working with people is what is important.

Work Environment and Considerations

  • A small team on site, and there may be times this individual is left to work alone whilst other members of staff are out on appointments
  • We are a friendly estate agents to work for - family feel and have the attitude of getting stuck in and supporting each other. It would be great to find someone like-minded
  • We don't have staff parking on site, but there is street parking near by
  • There is a small kitchen area on site, with fridge etc. We provide teas and coffees
