Macildowie are actively seeking a Production Planning Administrator to work for a well established business based in Swadlincote.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 12:30.

Salary is based between GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 depending on experience.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is experienced in excel (v look ups, pivot tables, conditional formatting and inputting), if you have an invoice background then this will be beneficial as there is a fair bit of high volume data inputting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Raising Manufacturing Orders (MOs) in line with the production plan
  • Completing FS transactional requirements as part of the production process.
  • Maintaining and updating FS data, including but not limited to: MO data control, assisting with BOM maintenance, Item Master planning setup
  • Collecting production data provided by the daily Time Sheets
  • Analysing production data and identifying trends and patterns
  • Providing improvement opportunities available based upon the production data collected
  • Ad hoc reporting & creating of presentations to support the Operations team and business needs
  • Supporting administrative stock take procedures when required
  • Feedback of KPIs to support the operations team
  • Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders
  • Acting as an interface between the operational business units and the planning team
  • Participate in other business improvement projects as required
  • Develop robust procedures to support the above activities and assisting with the implementation and the monitoring of change
