Seeking a new Admin opportunity?

We are looking for a Production and Sales Administrator to join a well-established and leading company based in Tipton, specialising the manufacturing and distribution of Pharmaceutical and Hygiene Tubes, valves, fittings and fabrications.

As a Production and Sales Administrator, your main role will be to assist the Production and Sales departments. You will be responsible for processing customer enquiries via phone and email, growing customer relationships, maintaining reports and assisting with shop floor production planning to ensure on time dispatch. Additional responsibilities are listed below.

As a Production and Sales Administrator, you will be reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and Production Controller.

Salary for this role is dependent on experience.

Immediate start date available.

Additional responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining and distribution of various Excel Reports
  • Raising, completing and booking in works orders
  • Raising bills of materials and creating routes for manufacturing
  • Allocating stock to sales orders
  • Raising Stock Take reports and supporting paperwork
  • Maintaining sub-contractor control sheets
  • Issuing parts to works order and shop floor
  • Creating and filing inspection paperwork and weld maps/logs
  • To produce all certification documentation as required for sales orders
  • To deal effectively and efficiently with customer queries relating to certificates
  • To ensure all reports are produced as required
  • To assist the Sales Team as required
  • To efficiently process customer enquiries and order via phone and email
  • To follow up all enquiries and orders through to dispatch
  • To grow and maintain customer relationships
  • To assist in marketing activities
  • To receive incoming calls and route them through to relevant department
  • To distribute incoming post
  • To carry out regular Stock take of promotional goods
  • To undertake other duties as requested by Management

Requirements

  • IT literate with key skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • Exceptional communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Legible and neat handwriting
