Our client, a boutique management consultancy in the West End, is currently recruiting an Office Manager / PA. You will be responsible for the overall maintenance and management of the office and will also be required to assist with PA duties for the leadership team. This is a varied role and ideally suited to an individual who enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse office team. The successful candidate should enjoy juggling multiple priorities effectively while supporting internal and external communications and representing the team in a positive and professional manner to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the office

This role is office based with flexibility to work one day a week remotely.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming visitors to the office and managing meeting rooms
  • Ordering furniture and equipment
  • Ordering food/beverages for the office
  • Maintenance of printers, ordering business cards and stationery
  • Supplier / Contractor relationship management (office plant company, travel services companies, IT services etc)
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Organisation of company events including new joiner welcome drinks, team building events, Christmas and Summer parties
  •  PA support to the senior leadership team and ad hoc support to the wider team (including travel and itinerary planning, taxis, visas)
  • A willingness to assist with ad hoc office projects

Skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years office management / PA experience, ideally gained within a professional services company
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and verbal)
  • French or German language skills highly desirable (although not essential)
  • Common sense and initiative
  • A positive, proactive approach to tasks
  • Team spirit and a ‘can do’ approach
