Executive Assistant, Museum, London, 6–8-week Temp role, £15-16 p/h plus holiday pay.

Our client, a well renowned Museum based in London, requires an Executive Assistant to start ASAP.  You will be providing administrative and project support to the Executive Leadership Team. This is a 6–8-week temp role with the possibility of going permanent.

The main duties of the Executive Assistant role are:

  • Managing diaries and travel arrangements, dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing (paper and digital), preparing meeting briefs, updates and undertake research on organisations/individuals in preparation for meetings as required.
  • Liaising with wide range of people at all levels on matters of a confidential nature
  • Provide secretarial support which will include organising meetings, preparing, and distributing papers, taking minutes of the meetings, and updating on progress periodically
  • You will organise and contribute to the organisation and running of various museum functions, which will include evening receptions, luncheons, and special tours of the Museum
  • Provide support in making arrangements for VIP visits
  • Provide administration support as required, including researching, and preparing talks and presentations
  • Maintaining the filing system

You must have proven experience in providing EA/PA and administrative support in a role requiring organisation of information. You will be required to work proactively and independently as well as across different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of the Museum – using your knowledge, skills, talent, and potential to the best of your ability. You must have excellent communication skills both spoken and written, have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple commitments.  You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service. You need to be able to use your initiative, build rapport with a broad range of people and be IT proficient. Experience of working for a museum or similar cultural sector is desirable.
