PA to CEO / Founder required for highly regarded and successful publishing firm. A busy and varied organisational role which includes some private support alongside business duties, you will be central to the smooth running of this busy executives life. Handling all internal and external approaches, you will be an effective yet approachable gatekeeper fully relied on and included. Ideal for an experienced PA with senior level / board experience, this will be a fascinating and interesting role which sits right at the heart of this global business. Open to candidates from all industries, an interest in reading, literature and books would be most welcome. Handling all diary, meeting and international travel coordination duties, this will be a highly involved and visible role within the business. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to manage a busy workload through excellence in time management, prioritisation, and communication. This business is known for its' supportive culture, where you will work closely with your fellow PAs. A wonderful firm and opportunity.

Duties include:

  • Complex diary and meeting management 
  • International and domestic travel arrangements
  • Liaison with the board, stakeholders and external key clients
  • Anticipating and resolving issues in advance
  • Email management – flagging urgent requests and following up as necessary
  • Organising Board meetings and other senior management committees; coordinating with other global offices, external advisors and stakeholders
  • Organising client dinners/entertainment and in-house lunches
  • Assisting in the coordination of team / business events 
  • Private PA duties

Skills and experience:

  • Previous board/senior PA experience 
  • Advanced MS Office
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, able to confidently build internal and external relationships
  • Minute taking (can use your own methods)
  • Calm under pressure and able to multitask
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE, plus benefits
