Team Assistant

About the Role:

Working in a fast-paced environment, based in Kekst CNC’s London office, we are recruiting for a Team Assistant to help support an office of 80 staff. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic workplace that is experiencing high growth.

The role requires somebody with can-do attitude, approachable manner, great time management, and the ability to multi-task, as you will be the go-to person in the office for adhoc tasks as and when they arise.

This role will involve working closely with the Office Manager and within the Central Support Team, alongside the team of London Assistants.  

Main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Office Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the office.
  • Maintaining a tidy, clean and efficient office and ensuring office equipment (such as stationery and kitchen supplies) is well stocked at all times.
  • Providing general administrative assistance such as binding, distributing post, arranging couriers, booking taxis etc.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to our office, both external and colleagues from other offices.
  • Assisting with organisation of internal gifts and farewell parties.
  • Answering calls to the main office line and passing on messages.
  • Supporting the social team in the organisation of internal events, including summer and year-end parties and any other ad-hoc functions.
  • Assisting with setting up new suppliers.
  • Working closely with the finance team to create PO’s when needed.
  • Adhoc support with travel booking, timesheets and expenses when needed.
  • Contributing to a positive office culture.


  • Some experience in a corporate setting is preferable, but not a requirement.
  • A self-starter who truly enjoys being the go-to person in the office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, since you will communicate internally and externally on behalf of the company.
  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of working with spreadsheets, databases etc would be preferable.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and willing to work with a rapidly changing set of priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, can-do attitude and approachable manner.
  • Be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
