A lovely family owned HR Consultancy based in Letchworth with strong ties in the local business community for over 10 years are looking to hire an Apprentice HR & Payroll Administrator.
As well as gaining a wide variety of knowledge within the HR team, you will be placed on an HR & Payroll Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will last 18 months, and upon successful completion, you will be promoted to a Junior HR Assistant with the opportunity to continue to grow and develop within the team.
The work will be varied, and no two days will be the same, and you will receive ongoing support from North Hertfordshire College who will be running the apprenticeship.
Daily, you are likely to be assisting the team with administrative tasks, therefore this position requires excellent people and organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, this is an ideal role if you are passionate about people, HR policies and procedures and you would like to work for a company that provides a first-class HR consultancy service to local businesses.
Some of the varied work you will be responsible for:
- Answer telephone and general email enquiries.
- Book meetings & diary management.
- Update and maintain HR records.
- Preparing of letters.
- Import and export data.
- Payroll administration.
- Administration support on key accounts.
- Updating CRM database.

Essential Skills
Skills and experience for this role:
* Time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Solid PC skills, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
