Required ASAP but willing to be flexible
We are looking to appoint an Overseas Schools Administrator for a fixed term maternity cover from 21st February 2022. This role will be based at King's College School, Wimbledon, working 40 hours per week during term time (some flexibility may be considered) and 200 hours in the holidays (days to be mutually agreed).
The successful candidate will provide full administrative support to the Director of Overseas Schools, and other members of the overseas schools team. The position requires excellent organisational ability, sensitive and intuitive communication skills, great attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Working remotely may be an option.
The position of Director of Overseas Schools, in addition to being a strategic managerial role, is a varied and often quite reactive role. The support from the Overseas Schools Administrator, whilst needing to remain focused on daily/weekly/termly schedules and strategy must also be adaptable and able to accommodate events as they occur. The ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise accordingly is vitally important. Additional administrative support is also to be provided to the overseas schools team, including assistance with general ad hoc administrative tasks.
King's is one of the most successful schools in the UK, with outstanding academic results and first-class facilities. Overlooking Wimbledon Common, the school is situated in one of the most attractive parts of south east England.
Closing date: Monday 31st January 2022
Interviews: Friday 4th February 2022
Further details, including a full job description and application form are available from the school's website, (under useful information / career opportunities)
King's is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and medical clearance.
