HR Team Leader

Our client is looking for an HR Team Leader to join their HR function. The role will take supervisory responsibility for the central HR transactional team that provides an effective, proactive high quality central service to the whole organisation. The successful candidate will have line management responsibility for a small team of HR professional and responsibilities will include:

Undertaking supervisory responsibility for HR transactional team, managing team welfare, day to day tasking, work load management and the continuing professional development of the tam
Ensuring Service Level Agreements are achieved and processes/procedures are implemented to ensure maximum performance is delivered
Overseeing projects undertaken by team members in liaison with HR colleagues
Assisting the HR Operational Team to ensure the continuation of service provided by the team
Dealing with escalated, more complex HR generalist enquiries
Generating MIS on Help Desk performance for HR Management on a regular basis
Attending HR meetings to ensure the most efficient communication channels between the central HR team and wider HR team are maintained and provide value
Providing point of contact for HRBPs and senior members of staff
The person

CHRP qualified or working towards CIPD qualifification
Demonstrable experience of working within an HR environment
Exposure to the applicatio of employment legislation
Previous experience of undertaking administrative experience in a complex area
Previous experience in researching, collating, analysing and reporting on data
Previous supervisory experience
Strong IT skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise tasks, have an organised and methodical approach when dealing with workload
Good time management skills
Able to motivate, monitor and develop staff
Salary

GBP25,500 - GBP26,600 plus benefits
