We are recruiting a highly organised and motivated Project Administrator to join a Global Health charity located in Cambridge. This is a brand-new role, the post-holder will contribute to the successful running and development of the charity.

Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidate after minimum of 3 months

Pay: GBP17.57 per hour plus GBP2.12 holiday pay per hour (equivalent to GBP32,000 full time annual salary)

Part remote: working in Cambridge office 2-4 times per month, the rest home based

Part Time: 15-21 hours per week, these hours can be condensed into 2 or 3 days or spread over 5 days. The hours need to be worked during the day, anytime as long as they are worked between 9am - 5pm.

Start date: Immediate start essential (wc 31/1/22)

Person specification

You will be highly organised and able to balance multiple tasks, projects and competing deadlines.

You will have an interest in the work of the charity and the field of gender, global health and addressing inequities. Computer literacy and proven experience with Excel and PowerPoint is essential, in particular with using excel to manage budgets.

You will have experience in coordinating and arranging meetings, events and teleconferences and undertaking basic administrative functions.

Key duties:

  • Track internal project spending and manage financial records
  • Process invoices
  • Assist with diary planning and coordination of activities
  • Provide dedicated assistance for travel planning and travel bookings and processing of expenses
  • Organise all logistics for conference calls, face-to-face meetings, conferences, public events, etc.
  • Provide support for activities and events hosted by GH5050 and its partners
