A unique opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Executive Assistant to join a Family Office based in Apperley Bridge on a permanent basis.

This role will be based in the office in Apperley Bridge between 2-3 days per week, with the rest of the week working remotely. There will be travel to London on a monthly basis for meetings.

The successful candidate will be extremely professional, discrete, loyal and dedicated and will have longevity in their roles. 

The ideal candidate will be solutions-focused, have proven business acumen in a similar role and have the ability to exercise good judgment and high emotional intelligence in order to maintain a realistic balance amongst multiple priorities, sentiments, and opinions.

As a representative for this Family Office, the EA must be highly professional, have excellent presentation skills, and represent the business positively, whilst maintaining the highest level of integrity in all areas.

Duties will include:

  • Establishing a strong trusted relationship with the Family Office Principle to support the delivery of the overall strategic goals of the business, on a day-to-day basis
  • Managing personal household and administrative duties
  • Coordinating, organising and servicing events and meetings to include the booking of venues, catering arrangements, travel and entertainment reservations
  • Preparing Board packs and meeting materials 
  • Undertaking the proactive management and monitoring of both corporate and privately-owned residential and commercial property in the UK and overseas
  • Liaising with agents and lawyers as and when required to ensure the smooth running of all real estate
  • Monitoring and updating bank position files across several accounts and tracking portfolio
  • Supporting the ongoing operational success of the business, projects and helping to mitigate all risks
  • Day to day administrative and EA style duties 
  • Ability to influence in different settings
  • Building a highly efficient and close working relationship with other team members to encourage collaboration and accountability
  • A flexible approach to availability ad working hours

Person Specification:

  • A passionate commitment towards the successful performance of the Family Office
  • Business acumen and commercially minded 
  • Good standard of education to at least A Level standard
  • Must be a driver with own car
  • Outstanding communication, people, and management skills
  • Ability to manage time to ensure maximum output with a proactive approach to all activities
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt at short notice
  • Strong and effective decision making
  • Team player, who is willing to collaborate and trust
  • Excellent IT skills with proven ability using MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must act with confidence, complete discretion, and integrity
  • Fluent Italian is advantageous as is previous experience of working in a family office
  • The EA will work independently and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and relationships with confidentiality and discretely

This is a fantastic opportunity for a role where no two days are the same. You will be working for a small family office with a very low turnover of staff. 

Salary will be up to £35,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.
