This independent and high-end GP surgery are looking for a brilliant, experienced and charming Part-Time Medical Receptionist/Secretary. They have UHNWI and Exclusive patients, therefore, you must be discreet, reliable and have exceptional attention to detail. This is a small but incredibly friendly and hard-working surgery, some days will be more pressured than others it is essential that you can work efficiently and prioritise.

Within this role you will be:

  • Covering the reception, phones, doors and inboxes
  • Dealing with all telephone callers and directing client contact appropriately
  • Managing correspondence – including making appointments, referrals etc.
  • Administrative support for the Partners – including photocopying, postal duties, emails, scanning, filing and managing stock
  • Updating medical records
  • Scanning patient records onto the clinical system
  • Logging insurance request for medical reports and private health insurance claim forms into and out of the computer system

They are looking for someone who:

  • Charming, personable and emotionally intelligent
  • Client facing – must have excellent telephone and in person communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Discreet and trustworthy – you will be dealing with delicate and confidential information so discretion is paramount
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced reception role (doctors/dentists/hotels or similar would be ideal)
  • Unflappable, proactive with high standards of excellence
