Job title: Hotel Receptionist
Salary: 20,800 GBP
Location: Ravenscar, North Yorkshire
Type of contract: Permanent
Workplace description: Located in beautiful countryside within the National Park, only a mile and a quarter from the Town centre of Thirsk, this recently refurbished and upgraded hotel, now under new ownership offers quality accommodation with Bistro Restaurant and Lounge/Bar.
Main duties and responsibilities: You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest enquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations.
You will work closely with other hotel departments, especially housekeeping, to ensure rooms are ready for guests to check in.
This is a busy front desk so you must be organized and able to work as a team or on your own initiative, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Essential criteria: Previous hotel reception experience.
Knowledge of hotel reservations systems, good sales ability and an approachable manner. You will also be an outgoing and friendly person and possess good communication skills.
Accommodation provided: Yes (on an all inclusive basis)
Charge for accommodation: 52.00 GBP p/w
