Charity Administrator for leading Charity, excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in this sector, A Levels or equivalent qualifications, Strong IT skills particularly database management, reception, coordination and administration role. Salary GBP18000-GBP20000, Parking, 35 hour week and 33 days holiday
Our client is looking to recruit a Charity Administrator to be part of their Supporter Team, you will be an integral part of a team that ensures the continued success of the charity, the incredible work they do and make a real difference/be a part of something worthwhile
This is an ideal first opportunity for someone who wants to work in charitable sector or who wishes to further their experience in this sector
Role and Responsibilities for the position of Charity Administrator:
- First point of contact for all emails and telephone calls
- Coordinate all internal and external information for the team
- Handling IT requests and setting up new starters/volunteers onto system
- Support the Volunteer Coordinator, running coffee bar and welcome desk
- Supporting Finance Officer with some basic finance tasks
- Updating database (Raisers Edge), archiving and data cleansing
- Manage stock of and order office consumables
- Manage Executive and Team Diaries, booking meeting rooms
- Writing to donors to thank them for their support
- Agendas, minutes and actioning for Team meetings
- Prepare for monthly board meetings
- Administrative support for events and campaigns
Experience and Skills required for the Charity Administrator:
- Educated to A Level or equivalent
- Highly skilled in MS Office
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to prioritise and juggle many tasks
- Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise own work load
- Strong Customer engagement expertise
- Continuous Improvement capabilities
- Able to work in a team to set objectives
- Database management experience ideal
- Any experience within charitable sector ideal but not essential
