Payroll Administrator

Payroll Administrator Temporary until end of Aug 2022 Solihull GBP14.15 per hour (Umbrella)

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the production of current allocated payroll, and carries responsibility for planning and organising their workload to ensure accurate and timely submission of weekly and monthly payrolls and associated payroll outputs including BACS, Payslips and RTI submissions.

To produce payroll output in compliance with statutory regulations and requirements (including HMRC, GDPR and SOx) to ensure all obligations, policies and procedures are met.

The post holder reports to the Payroll Team Leader,. Whist there are no direct line management requirements, the role does require for the Payroll Administrator be a champion for Payroll process, and supporting other members of the Payroll Team and wider Reward team.

Suggestions and helps to implement improvements to processes and ensure that we continue to meet all SOx requirements while enhancing the payroll offering through continuous improvements.

Primary Responsibilities of Post Holder:
The accurate and timely production of weekly and monthly payrolls with any issues identified and remediated with support if required.
Compliant with statutory regulations and reporting requirements (including HMRC, GDPR and SOx)
Compliant with Tarmac Policies and Procedures
Effective customer focussed liaison with stakeholders and employees
Administration duties - Employee Benefits - Pension, SAYE & general support for the wider Reward Team.
Plan and organise workload to ensure that weekly and monthly payrolls are delivered on time, providing additional cover for absent colleagues as appropriate.
Process weekly and monthly payrolls and associated outputs in accordance with payroll policies and procedures, and statutory regulations while ensuring all colleagues are paid accurately and on time.
