I am looking for a professional and resourceful EA who will support the CEO of an exceptional charity and play a central role in its smooth running and management. The charity has a lovely non-hierarchical structure, and you will therefore need to be comfortable engaging with others at all levels while maintaining high levels of confidentiality. This is a great opportunity to work for a third sector organisation and really make a difference by getting involved and implementing long-term plans and policies. You will take on a senior level of responsibility in this role and will provide a wide range of administrative, secretarial and project related support to the CEO and other board members of the charity. If you are someone who will go above and beyond what is required of them to represent the CEO to the highest standard, you will be great in this role.
Your duties will include:
Full executive support to the CEO
- Extensive diary and meeting management
- Travel and itinerary arrangements
- Expense and logistics management
- Taking minutes and preparing high quality presentation material
- Acting as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries and liaising with a range of stakeholders and contacts at all levels
- Ad hoc administrative and project management support
Administrative support for the Board of Trustees
- Coordinating diaries, distributing reports, circulating minutes
Organising and planning for charity meetings
- Making notes of actions and recommendations that arise from meetings and ensuring these are actioned
- Circulating lists for decision making forums
- Liaising with project teams
Office admin support
- Ad hoc admin duties for other teams and individuals as and when required
Experience providing executive support at board level is required. Ideally this will have also been in a third sector organisation, although this is not essential. The ideal candidate will be someone who is happy to muck in and challenge others when necessary. You will need to be a commercially aware and professional individual who is comfortable liaising internally and externally at all levels while maintaining a calm and empathetic manner.
