This highly successful, boutique financial services executive search firm based in the City is looking for a highly organised, diligent operations/office manager who has an exceptional eye for detail. This is a small office of 10, with ambitious growth plans which you will be instrumental in supporting.
You will work closely with the founder, as well as the wider senior consultant group to ensure their efforts are also supported. The founder is also very keen on having an ambitious person who wants to build themselves a more involved role through learning about all aspects of the business as it grows and responsibilities increase.
As well as managing the London office, you will manage all aspects of HR (internal recruitment, hr files, onboarding), Finance (invoicing, expenses, payroll), CRM management, and operate as a first point of contact for clients and candidates with high expectations and demanding requirements.
- Development and implementation of prodecures and processes
- Bookkeeping
- Managing expenses and payroll
- Ensuring staff are provided with adequate equipment to carry out their duties
- Maintaining the office and ensuring any repairs/changes are arranged and carried out
- Managing internal recruitment processes whether via direct applications or through partnerships with agencies
- Managing staff holiday
- Keeping accurate HR records (one to ones, monthly reviews, appraisals, disciplinary procedures, onboarding and offboarding, etc.)
- Assisting with staff development and training
- Producing daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports (mainly statistics drawn from the database and phone system)
- Managing HR and H&S policies and ensuring the office is compliant
- Assisting with any ad-hoc company project that requires more hands
- Set-up and induction of new starters
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders

Requirements
Office Management/Operations Management experience
Recruitment/Search, consultancy, sales or perhaps a start up or other client-facing environment
Degree educated or equivalent
Polished presentation and communication style, very good written English
Sociable and enjoys building relationships with colleagues
