Project Manager

JOB ROLE: Project Operations Manager              

COMPANY: Engineering Consultancy                  

HOURS: Full time, Permanent                       

SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000          

LOCATION: London, West End              

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

• Supporting regular reporting to maintain appropriate team workload and assess resources.
• Providing continuity and a point of contact, so a regular cycle of monthly checking, meeting and reporting is in place and observed by the teams.
• Creating open communication routes across multiple teams to manage outcomes.
• Monitoring profitability targets across projects in consultation with Job Leaders, Project Leaders and Project Directors.
• Sound commercial awareness and an aptitude for financial management.
• Strong communication skills - persuasive and engaging with the ability to build positive relationships. Excel-savvy - it is important you're an advanced user as this is a key tool for the role - as well as being highly numerate with a logical approach.
• Great perception as well as being incisive and concise with the ability to focus on the right issues at the right time.
• Experience of supporting a team of people, including senior managers as well as one-to-one basis.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Extremely detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality across all tasks.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must be flexible and willing to work extra time during busy times and on call during weekends and after business hours.
• Must demonstrate a can-do attitude.
• High level of interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers and executives.
• Demonstrate highest level of ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times with all situations and documentation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and extensive use of Microsoft Office and/or Mac OS.
