At Quarry Manufacturing & Supplies we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join our team based in Coalville. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis working 20 hours per week (ideally 4 hours a day, but we would consider between 15-20 hours per week for the suitable candidate). In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP22,000 - 25,000 per annum (pro rata for part time).

About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator who is interested in taking on additional higher level HR duties as required.
The role will be fully supported by experienced management, who will be there for the more complicated aspects and employer relation issues and our successful candidate will be responsible with the day-to-day HR admin and be the first line of contact for HR.
In return, we can offer flexibility, lots of parking, and the opportunity to grow and develop in the role and take on additional HR duties with time.
Responsibilities as our HR Administrator:
Managing the HR employee life cycle from recruitment to employment end.
Operational duties include recruitment, on boarding (induction), performance management and development, training, absence management, occupational health, employee engagement and employee relations.
Responsible for the maintenance of people systems and databases to ensure compliance with legal, health and safety and GDPR regulations.
Preparing HR documents (offer letters, contracts, job descriptions, handbook, changes to terms and conditions of employment)
Promotes and shares best HR practices.
Answering staff and line manager queries about HR related issues.
Identifies people/employee engagement improvement opportunities, establishing action plans and ensuring completion of projects.
Helps ensure the company is compliant with employment law regulations.
Skills & Experience of our HR Administrator:
Essential
CIPD Level 3 qualification and/or proven relevant experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor.
Excellent administrative, organisational and prioritisation skills.
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate - able to use office programs.
Desirable
Ideally experience of working in a similar engineering environment.
A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
Understanding of change management.
Previous involvement in payroll processing.
