Trainee Administrator (Rental) - Wakefield

Starting Salary GBP19k (Depending on National Minimum Wage for age) + benefits

The role is varied and includes all aspects of running an efficient rental operation and we will provide the successful applicant with a structured programme of training, leading to valuable NVQ qualifications in Business Administration.

At the end of the training the applicant will have gained skills and experience which can give a pathway in to a future career in any business. The training period is expected to last 24 months after which the salary will be review and increased in line with the applicant's progress.

The role in brief:-

Work towards NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration

Valuable practical experience working in an office environment

Taking hire enquiries via telephone, email and our online ordering system

You will be given job specific training to become a Hire Desk Controller, a recognised career path with excellent progression prospects

Coordinating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure that the correct machines are ready and delivered to customer sites

Dealing with customer complaints and damage

Dealing with customers professionally and politely, and maximising sales using your product knowledge

Maintaining health and safety standards within the hire office

Communicating effectively with other colleagues, and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries

The ideal candidate:

Friendly, helpful and professional

You must be a team player and take instruction well

Outgoing and enthusiastic

Highly organised and the ability to multi task

Comfortable with Microsoft packages and computer skills in general
