Page Personnel are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join a well established and credible Education provider following a recent expansion into the North West. The role will be filled on a temporary basis to begin with, running until March 2022, with an opportunity to extend the position or potentially become a permanent role due to the requirement for localised HR personnel.

Client Details

Our client is a well established Academy Trust, with multiple academy facilities across the North of England. Having recently expanded into the Liverpool area as part of ambitious wider region growth plans, they are now looking to have an on-site HR professional within the area, based from one location within the Liverpool region.

Description

Having recently moving into the area, it's key for a new HR Officer to enter the organisation to adopt and deploy Academy procedure and policies across all aspects of HR. The role will especially focus on ER caseload, with complex cases to prioritise and work around.

The position will have support from the organisations HR team based in North England, but will benefit from the exposure and experience working as a lead HR Professional within the area, coaching and supporting senior members of staff directly on all aspects of HR including disciplinary's, grievances, appraisals, performance and absence management. Other core responsibilities will be:

Manage all complex employee relations casework for selected business areas, up to and including dismissal
Support the implementation of organisational change initiatives, including restructures and TUPE
Effectively manage the Employee Relations caseload within the region, with support from an established out-of-region HR Team
Build manager capability in effective people management by providing expert HR advice, coaching and training on all issues connected to the employment relationship
Actively contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures in line with the established Academy handbook.Profile

To be the successful candidate within this role, a strong confidence and past experience in ER will be essential, due to the main demands of the post. In addition, you should:

Be CIPD level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
Be confident in collaborating with leaders and managers, and building effective working relationships at all levels.
Have a commitment to Equality & Diversity, both in the workplace and in the delivery of services.
Have high levels of IT literacy
Be able to demonstrate high organisation skills, and the ability to prioritise work and caseload efficiently.Job Offer
