Health & Safety Administrator Construction
Our Client is looking for a H&S Administrator to Assist the H&S Manager working within the Medway located office. You will ideally have an H&S background and some office experience in an environment that is fast paced.
To assist with the day to day management of the H&S Training Tracker, ensuring that employees attend the courses relevant to their role and liaising with the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. Update the site audit tracker as directed by the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager.
Responsibilities
• Update Probe Alerts for HS&E Manager
• Assist the HS&E Manager with administration
o Training Matrix
o Site Investigation Report
o Accidental Incident Support
o Fire Extinguishers on site
• General office administration under the direction of Directors' Project Manager
• Support the Purchasing, Procurement and Office/Project Administrators as directed by the Directors' Project Manager
• Provide cover for administration staff for holiday and peak periods as directed by Directors' Project Manager
• Adding claimed funding/grants for CITB short courses/NVQs
• Sending out Training Agreements
• Researching and identifying training courses
H&S Administrator Competencies
Role-specific:
• Advanced user Microsoft Outlook email and calendars and MS Word.
• Excellent English language skills, dealing with telephone calls, visitors and emails appropriately.
• Health & Safety experience beneficial.
General IT:
• Competent user MS Excel.
• Competent user Project Probe.
