I am working with an Apart Hotel company with properties in York & Harrogate that offer a luxury self-catering experience who are currently recruiting for Part-Time Receptionists. Ideally the successful candidate would have previous Hotel experience and understand hotel booking software or come form a good administrational background with a proven record of high organisation and communicational skills. You would be working a minimum of 20hrs per week generally over 2-3 days, which could be due to the nature of the business include weekends, with shifts patterns been Mon-Sat 9-5pm, Sunday 9.30 - 2.30pm and then evenings been (phone number removed)pm, evenings would be a chance to increase your basic hours each week. These roles are ideal for candidates living central to York or Harrogate and both are accessible via public transport.

Role:

Covering the reception and guest services
Responsible for the efficient daily running of tasks and processing room bookings
Maintain a warm and friendly manor while completing guest check ins
Provide excellent customer service and be aware of VIP guests arriving for their stay
Understand the hotel and how it operates as a business
Comfortably sell rooms over the phone and in person
Actively solve issues and problems that arise dailyRequirements:

Previous hotel reception experience
Good understanding of booking software for example Rez Lynx
