Receptionist / Team Assistant

My client is the largest emerging markets-focused private-equity firm, with over 200 employees across the globe. I am looking for a professional receptionist and team assistant to join their friendly and collaborative team in Mayfair. This is an excellent and diverse role for a reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude. As the company continues to grow, this is such an exciting time to join the team. You will get involved in all things from answering phone calls to assisting the Office Manager with day-to-day queries.

Your duties will include:

Receptionist:

• Answering phone calls
• Overseeing meeting rooms and assisting with the opening of video calls, calls and presentations when necessary
• Meeting and greeting clients, accepting deliveries and organising couriers
• Keeping the office tidy, liaising with cleaners and managing office supplies
• Managing office access for staff (programming building passes)
• Meeting and managing suppliers
• Assisting the Digitisation and Information Officer
• You will be trained to be a first aider and office fire marshal

Team Assistant:

• Diary and travel management, including arranging visas (collaborating with Executive Assistants)
• Booking couriers
• Adding and maintaining contact details
• Binding

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role. You will also need to have hands-on experience within an office environment and have excellent organisational and time-management skills. The ability to work both independently and within a team is crucial here.
