HR Intern
Our client is seeking a graduate who has an interest in HR to assist the European HR Director of a global company. This role would suit a graduate who has strong Excel skills and is very keen to learn. You will have exposure to a busy HR team and this role may potentially lead to a permanent role in the future.
Working pattern: Hybrid model, Tues/Wed in Pangbourne (8.30am-5.30pm) but otherwise our client can be flexible about working hours across the week.
Your role:
Supporting the global recruitment activity, using accurate and well drafted JDs to agree shortlisting criteria with hiring manager
Proactive daily searching on LinkedIn/Indeed and any other online sources for potential candidates across all vacancies to build talent pipeline
Process tracking for all roles, updating with progress against each stage of recruitment journey to provide accurate and timely details for recruiting managers
Initial screening interviews for all roles below senior tech/leadership (using structure set of interview questions and recording outcomes)
Reviewing candidates from agency/careers page/online recruitment portals to monitor progress and provide standard follow up communications where these are not automated
Using data from existing sources, create definitive list of all related job types, size, salary banding for each location/skillset in preparation for RPO future use
Liaise with other HR team colleagues in US and Asia as appropriate to support all recruitment activityThe person:
Graduate ideally
An interest in HR
Strong communicator who is capable of using initiative when appropriate and keeping multiple projects on the go
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
Highly personable and professional
