HR Advisor: Permanent: Manchester based with travel to other sites: Paying GBP27,000 - GBP28,000 + Benefits
Morson Talent are looking for a competent HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis. The HR Advisor will be in a client facing role supporting one of our established construction clients with managing employee relations casework, providing data and analytics for key change projects across the business and in the delivery of the outsourced HR Operations Service.
Reporting into the Senior HR Advisor, The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
Processing documentation and prepare reports relating to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance and evaluations
Coordinating and supporting on a variety of HR projects and taking minutes
Providing HR advice and guidance to employees and management on a range of all HR related matters, escalating to the Senior HR Advisor/Business Partner where necessary
Assisting, where necessary, in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
Supporting the Senior HR Advisors and Business Partners to ensure that complaints and grievance procedures are managed within the parameters of company policy.
Coordinating communication with candidates and scheduling interviews where appropriate to support the Recruitment Partner.
Conducting inductions to newly hired employees
Assisting the Recruitment Partner in identifying and sourcing talent for vacancies within the organisation and updating the database accordingly
Working closely with management and employees to improve retention, engagement, morale and performance.
Coaching and building the capacity of Managers so they can anticipate and pre-empt team and individual issues.
Liaising with key personnel within the wider HR team to organise training, talent acquisition, and changes to terms and conditions
Supporting with the implementation of project plans for any significant projects (redundancy programmes, TUPE, re-organisations) and manage the implementation accordingly
HR reporting on key metrics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Designing and delivering the HR dashboard, analytics and human capital metrics
Identifying opportunities for more continuous improvement and effective use of HR management information.
Supporting the HR Shared Service Manager in the delivery of HR Systems operations within the Shared Service Centre and escalate issues as and when appropriate
This is a great role for a strong Senior HR Assistant/Junior HR Advisor with ample ER case management experience who is looking to step up in their career, or for a proficient HR Advisor who is happy at their current level.
The ideal candidates will have a CIPD L5 qualification or will be working towards, extensive ER case management experience and a polished, professional approach as well as the below skills/attributes:
Previous experience working in a busy, fast paced HR Department is advantageous
Excellent Analytical skills
Strong Presentation skills
Strong Communication skills
Excellent Data Management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to translate data into coherent value adding MI to enable sound decision making
Highly organised and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines
Experience in creating reporting frameworks
Numerate and a lateral thinker, good at data analysis, with a strong attention to detail
Excellent documentation skills
Advanced user of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint
