UK HR Director / Head of Human Resources
HIGHLY EXPERIENCED HR DIRECTOR WITH EXPOSURE TO A BUSINESS WITH PRODUCTION & TRANSPORT OPERATIONS REQUIRED TO COORDINATE THEIR HR FUNCTION IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR
TITLE: UK HR Director - Head of Human Resources
PACKAGE: GBPNegotiable DOE
LOCATION: Flexible North West, Yorkshire or North Midlands
PREVIOUS JOB TITLES: HR Director or HR Manager or Head of Human Resources, Senior HR Business Partner or Group HR Manager
ROLE: UK HR Director - Head of Human Resources
Work closely with senior management and other Directors to prepare and implement HR strategy
Manage Payroll function for all staff
Support Directors and Managers on all recruiting matters
Advise Directors and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
Develop starter and leaver procedures
EXPERIENCE: UK HR Director - Head of Human Resources
You will have experience working in a business that has both production and transport operations such as Waste Management, Recycling, Quarrying, Manufacturing or similar
Previous Job Titles: HR Director or HR Manager or HR Business Partner or Head of HR Business Partner or Group HR Manager
Qualified CIPD member
Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level
Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
Ability to work autonomously
Experience of recruitment and interviews at a senior level
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
