Site Secretary /Document Controller - based at client site Blythe Valley Park, Shirley.
GBP28,000 FTE
An amazing opportunity to work on a brand new project team for a office design / fit out company has arisen for a dynamic site secretary/ project support with previous experience supporting on a project site and with previous on site document control experience. The successful candidate will provide onsite support to the site and project manager/s in a role where no two days will be the same.
The role will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills and work on a brand new development from start to finish allowing you to really leave your mark on the project.
The role of a site secretary / project administrator will be to maintain an efficient and effective onsite office and will require flexibility, the ability to multi-task and most importantly, a 'can do' attitude.
Your key responsibilities as a document controller/site secretary:
General office administration and support to Site Manager and Project Manager including but not limited to:
Set up site office with all associated requirements: internet, phone, printers, IT, furniture
Creating documents and spreadsheets
File and control permits as they are issued by the site manager
Various weekly status reports under the direction of the site and project manager
Diary and meeting room management
Control delivery notes and match to purchase orders
Arrange meetings, draft agendas, collate agenda papers and minute taking for site meetings
Maintain site drawings and distribute copies to contractors as required
Maintain contractor RAMS
Dealing with all site visitors
Archive documents both electronic and paper at the end of the project
Reporting to the site manager and project managerKey requirements:
Ideally have experience working as a document controller within the construction industry.
It is essential you are available to start employment within 1 week
