Job description - Sales Administrator
Coopers Fire design, manufacture, install and service innovative and bespoke Smoke and Fire Curtains for buildings. Our missions is to save lives through quality and innovative products and to raise awareness of effective fire protection solutions

To receive incoming opportunities into the business and communicate to relevant Sales Manager. To receive, review and process new enquiries through to quotation. To support the Sales team with their daily activities and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive incoming sales related enquiries
Research projects using Barbour ABI to improve conversion by way of quoting all bidding interested parties
Engage with designers, specifiers, and contractors with a view to generating and/or converting a quotation
Competent to use building contractors online tender portals to obtain all necessary information required for a quotation to be produced
Update and maintain the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Deliver excellent customer service both via telephone and email
Ensure competitor activity information is up to date on the CRM
Support and liaise with company's estimating department relating to construction contractor enquiries and quotation requests
Support and liaise with the company's marketing department relating to requests for product information, web leads, PR opportunities and exhibitions/CPD opportunities
Carry out any sales and marketing administration duties when and where required by the company
Support visits by customers to the company's premises
Carry out additional work responsibilities when considered necessary by the management
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Previous Sales Administration experience
Ability to learn and respond to technical information enquiries
Confident with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
Good telephone manner
Able to work under own initiative
Desirable:
Previous and proven sales experience
Worked within the 'high end' domestic and residential homes market with bespoke products
Able to empathise with a wide range of customers
Previous and proven customer services experience
Business related or technical qualification
Worked in a manufacturing environment
Worked in a construction industry related business
Fire and/or safety background
