Transport Administrator
Much Wenlock

Circa GBP23,000 per annum
Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week
DAYS - flexible start and finish times
I have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with excellent administration skills, who has previously used SAP and ideally has previously had some exposure to the Transport/ Logistics Industry. This position is working for a growing distribution business in the Much Wenlock area, you will be working in a small Transport team, arranging the delivery of products, completing all relevant administration tasks. My client offers flexile working hours, 1 hour lunch break and a holiday allowance which increases with service.
The Transport Administrator will be responsible for:
* Providing excellent customer service to customers
* Dealing with delivery notes, invoices, claims and credits
* Speaking with drivers, hauliers and suppliers
* Working to resolve problems with customers delivery
* Communicating with drivers to provide updates and taking information
* Processing invoices
* Tacking incoming containers
* Managing importation of goods
* Submitting import declarations
* Ensuring sufficient flow of documents for loading schedules
* Calculating transportation costs
Skills and Experience
* Confident and clear communicator
* SAP or similar MRP systems
* Good customer service
* Very computer literate
* Knowledge of transport industry/ procedures
* Any previous shipping/ import knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential
